I’m Toffael, from London UK

Well the Pita Pintas had me trying to figure out where I could get one. :D I don't think they are yet very common around here, but look like beautiful chickens.

I commend you on your quest to stay active and healthy! I definitely should add some power lifting to my life. I used to work at the weight room on campus, but now my power lifting consists mostly of bucking hay bales (6 tons then I'm done for the year. 😄)

I'm glad the google referred you to here! Welcome to BackYard Chickens!

He’s called Stripey and he’s really growing into a magnificently beautiful bird. I’m not sure if it’s typical of his breed, but he’s so social and confident, has been jumping into my knee since 3 months old, to eat treats out of my hand, and as been performing his role as reponsible leader since then too. He’s always running the length of the garden to status check on all the hens, always super alert and busy in his duties, as well as always seduces his hens with a dance before he mates them, and will not mate if they resist.

here is a video from when he was 3 months old, when sparring with his rooster sibling. i’ll take photo of him crowing tomorrow and post again! definitely my favourite of the entire flock

i found a video which reviews them.
