I just had to share!
I thought I was raising a little polish chick. However, after further research, I have determined it’s a pyncheon chick!
Furthermore, I found a lady close to me that is willing to sell me a pair of pyncheons that are almost breeding age.

I am so excited to have a breeding trio soon!

Here’s my pyncheon. I can’t wait to introduce the two new babies!

I actually just found it in a mixed bantam bin at tsc. I was convinced it was a tolbunt polish until I did some further research myself. It’s single comb and tassel point to it being a pyncheon.

I reached out to a very nice lady that is having to rehome her beloved birds. After talking to her, she sent some pictures and they’re gorgeous pyncheons! They’re about four months old and their comb development hints at it possibly being a male and female pair.

at first thought it was a Tolbunt Polish
I did as well! I was thinking that until last night! Once I the lady sent me pictures, I realized my bird looked just like hers. From there, I did some research and figured out mine is a pyncheon. I had just figured it was a very badly bred polish tolbunt cockerel!
