At this age, tail shape means nothing. You can't go by tails or tail feathers to sex chickens.

Yes, at this age pullets have weird tails. And cockerels don’t have proper boy tails. So you can’t tell.
This EE was laying two months later, but her tail looks weird in the pic, huh?
