I’m worried about my duck

I have a Muscovy Drake which is 4 months old almost and he has been raised in our house and has no outside living experience. He has been outside lots of times to run around and play but he always runs upstairs to get inside the house. Our house smells bad now because of all the pooing so she has to live outside now in his cage and he seems freaked out and is dying to get outside and come back inside. Will he die from stress or heart attack if he sleeps outside and lives out there because he isn’t used to be away from us, he’s always constantly in our sight and always in the house but now hes not and he lives outside and he doesn’t seem to be taking it well

i am so new to ducks but from what i understand they need companionship... i was told you should have at least 2..

He has no one he’s literally out there alone in the darkness just himself, I hope nothing happens I’ll be so upset

My babies love to be outside... but i did have them inside at night for a few months used a kid pool for them to sleep and play in helped with clean up... they like to come inside sometimes to play with dog.. i use a dog crate as well... i would say he needs a friend

most places will only sell in pairs ... maybe get another one.

I have another duck but it’s only one month old and he always tries to kill it so they can’t be together

oh no !! large DOG CRATE to be inside at night ... that may help him with new duck to

Get more ducks spend lots of time with him outside everyday. My ducklings are out side all day from 2.5 weeks in pen and supervised free range for several hours. outside makes for happy healthier bird in the long run. Maybe kennel him in ur garage at night.
