I’ve had a few fairy eggs with these young birds but this is ridiculous! I think a rogue chipping sparrow got into the quail hutch! That’s an American quarter for comparison.

Wow! That's very small. I do get the odd tiny egg in the beginning when mine first start laying, but they should level out with time.

Here's one I got a while back next to an American penny. I'm not sure if it's smaller than the one you showed, but they're pretty close. This is from a jumbo coturnix.
