Yeah, mine won't roost in their coop, but they will in their run. 
They are almost 8 weeks. They even have to walk over the roosts to get in/out of their coop... LOL. So I know they can get to them!
I figure they will eventually figure it out when they are too big to comfortably sit between the roosting bars. If not, oh well. LOL. I'm also not normal so I can't judge them.
