Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My Dad had chickens when I was a kid (in Wayne, NJ) and apparently my Grandmother raised chickens and sold the eggs back in the early 1900s in Clifton, NJ.
I started with chickens, ducks and guinea hens in 2000 when our own little family moved to the country in southern Virginia.

What breeds do you have? Australorps and mutts.

My girls are my girlfriends.

I enjoy crocheting, and baking bread.

I am retired home school mom of 4. I currently work part-time teaching Chinese children English as a second language, on-line. If you have a few hours a day and want to earn some extra cash (for spoiling your chickens, or any other hobby) check it out.
FYI, you must have a minimum of a bachelors degree. https://t.vipkid.com.cn/mkt/landing...2ca2616b6332fce74cd259ac41c&refereeId=9155355

Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

I found this amazing site while searching for chicken tractor plans for the DIYer. I have a rabbit tractor, that I would like to re-purpose for my chickens.

My goodness, you're a diversified and interesting person! I want to bake bread, but haven't actually done so yet.
Welcome to BYC - lots of knowledgeable, friendly folks here, and we're glad to have you!
