I accidentally got locked in the chicken run!!

My DH just recently got himself locked in our chicken coop. He put a temporary lack on the coop door. It is a gate latch. I told I was concerned that my DS would accidently get lock in. Sure enough the very next day my DH went out to open the windows for more ventilation and *click* the door latched behind him. He had to do some tricky manuvering to get out, but he finally did.

Of course I had to tell everyone I knew.....

You wont be first to get locked in
and you wont be the last, I had the latch shut on me but
luckly I had my cell phone on me
because DH was about to take a nap. LoL
he has since changed the latch.

Oh yeah! Been there! I was able to rip off the hardware cloth that I was in there to repair. And of course there was a giant dog turd right where I needed to put my hand to crawl out. My back hurt for a few days after maneuvering out of that one.

I once put a hot wire on the wrong part of the fence in a horse paddock and was stuck there because every time I touched the handle I got zapped. I finally took off my horse's halter and swatted at the handle until it came off.

Oh, that brought tears to my eyes..

from laughing so hard....

I'm sorry

I've got locked in the run quite a few times. The chickens look at me and laugh. And they think " Hmmm, she's stuck with us. Let's play the *Bite her toes and make her dance* game "

tooo funny! And i am just laughing cause i am so dumb i never thought to put 2 locks on my run door,LOL. My goats try to get in and we have to have a stick propt up against it. They always get in,

Derrr is for dummy! And dummy is me
