Thanks everyone... I just started sewing in the last year or 2 on and off... so I'm not really good at it yet.

Here's where I got the idea. I just hand drew my own pattern... you can see mine is quite fatter and probably a bit larger.

I am trying to teach some friends of mine who want to learn how to sew, and they bought sewing machines, but don't even know how to treat them. So we're going to start working on using their machines on sundays here. I wanted to find something simple, we could do from scraps I have... so I came up with this!

As for christmas.... I am working REALLY hard on pumping out little blankets for immediate family members... my MIL's quilt made from my daughter's baby clothes is the biggest most important present right now.

P.s. - I want to find a pattern for a rag dog like teddy bear or cat?! I want to make it for a baby's first birthday we're going to next week!
