When I was cleaning the brooder today I noticed the girls were fighting over who got to sit on top of the the 2x2 I have the thermometer hooked to. So I decided to add a roost. Its been fun watching them figure it out. The one down side I found is I may have to may it wider so their toes don't hang over. Their sisters will walk by and go,,,,oooooo toes yum and peck at the toes of whoever's on the roost.
I do have one that just isn't quite getting it, she is sleeping under the roost.
I tried to get a picture but with the wire top and cheap camera I have it doesn't work, so I tried to slowly lift the top but they all scattered.
