Like falling asleep watching a movie, eating peanut butter out the jar, not taking trash out

I also fall asleep watching a movie what irks me ( among other) leaving the door open, when the furnace is on, BUT closing the door, when the oven is on wood is free, and the oven heats so well, the door needs to stay open so I don’t pass out from heat stroke, when the furnace is on, it burns very expensive natural gas and when you leave the door open, the room cools down within 30 seconds and takes ages to heat up ( did I mention natural gas has gotten very expensive?!)
