I am 3 years in, and I still don't have it right.

People keep mentioned adding stops in-ground. I can say that that works-for a while- then, eventually, when you least expect it, something gets hungry enough, Fox or raccoon with babies desperate to eat something to make milk, a rat; to the point where they will go through the trouble of digging. I’ve had rats dig four feet down a rock wall and then, in very calculated fashion, dig under the wall and get in. Even hardware cloth will rust in ground after about 5 years. Raising the coup is the long term solution or pouring a concrete floor.
