I am 95% sure these two are roos, what do you think?

I have a bantam cochin and a sebright that I believe are both cockerels. I thought I caught the cochin in a crowing stance but no sound came out. Can anyone confirm? I will need to re-home them if so because I am not allowed to have roosters :(

I wish I could remember exactly but I have had them since May 19th. So roughly a month and a half and they were probably at least a month when I got them. I'm guessing between 2-3 months. This one of the first pics I have of them when I brought them home.

On the Sebright I think I see some pointed, shiny black feathers on the back right below and lifting up onto the tail. If so, then it is very likely to be a cockerel.

I'm guessing boy on the Cochin, too, because of the larger red comb and wattles, and also the shape of the comb.

I am not positive on these. If you need to rehome them quickly, then you probably should. But if you can wait a couple more weeks then it should become evident by then.

Yeah, I have to go with Drumstick Diva on this.

I'm sorry...they all look like cockerals to me.

Cochins at 8 to 12 weeks of age will only have large, red combs if they are roosters...and bantam Cochin roos do telecast those combs large at that age.

I'm not familiar with Sebrights (as I've never owned one), but bantams usually hold true that small combs female, large combs male if developed before 4 months of age.

Sorry.
