I got 2 popcorn polish from a lady and she said she wasn’t sure what they were but believed they were both hens. I cannot have roosters in my city so would need to rehome or send back. The one on the right in the photo of them beside one another I am thinking is a hen!
After some digging and research I think the one in question is a roo :’( can someone confirm?

They both look female to me.

How old are they? The one on the right in the last picture looks for sure female and the one on the left looks a little more questionable, but still looks like its crest feathers are rounded and not pointed.

the one on the right I am very confident is female but the left i get more of a male appearance.
As for age, i think they’re pullets around 3/4 months

I don't really see any wattles on them that I would probably expect from a cockerel of that age range, so hopefully they are just maturing a little faster than the other and not a slow developing male.
Can you take a real close look of the crest to see if any pointed streamers are coming in? Maybe a close-up picture of the saddle feathers? All the feathers that I can see closely so far look rounded.

I will take some photos when im home later but I learned that they are only 2 months. Born end of May this year

Yep, they both still look like girls to me.

Sorry she got picked on! I'd spray it off with some saline solution or Vetricyn, and monitor. It wouldn't hurt to post in the ER Forum if you want some more advice with it as well. I hope they all get learn to along and she heals quickly!

Here is a method to possibly consider if the issue persists (you might need to have an integration period of the crested and frizzles, so they can get used to each other before being allowed to "mingle".) Good luck with them! They sure are cute!

Thank you!! They free ranged together at the place I bought but didn’t coop together.
I worked today and had them in a run so couldn’t monitor. Poor baby:(

I will definitely be watching it closely. I took a wet wipe to it and wiped off any blood and then put some sterile sodium chloride for wounds on it. I’ll post in the ER forum. Your help has been appreciated !
