Triciakins
In the Brooder
I live in the Sachse area and we have chickens- 5 that are 3 weeks old. We are looking forward to raising them and enjoying their company and eggs. I read about chickens all the time so I can be prepared for all that lies ahead. If the weather holds up we are building our coop and run area in the backyard this Sunday! Very excited to be here and to have chickens.
We are worried that one of our chicks is a Rooster. He doesn't look like the others, meaning he is the only one with no tail feathers so far and his comb is bigger than all the others... it is still too soon to call it 100% but I am looking for homing options for him if he is a Rooster. Any recommendations are welcome! Would like to find him a place where he will not be slaughtered if at all possible.

They sure are lots of fun and very rewarding too. You might like to post a pic of your maybe a roo in the what breed gender section. Here is the link ~
