(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am expecting to get my first chicks on June 3rd. They will hatch on the 2nd.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I will be getting 10 easter egger chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have? easter egger is what is coming. Then in August I will be getting some bantams.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I don't know yet. We just got our brooder and hen house/run built and are trying to be as ready as we can be.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? reading, movies, gardening, puppies
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a real estate broker and work from home now. So I will have more time to spend on hobbies. I live with my husband and daughter. My best friend and I will be raising the chicks.

I just googled chickens and your group came up. I am trying to learn as much as I can about chickens before they get here.
