My first ever Serama eggs are due to hatch today (thanks MiMis_Place!). I have 9 confirmed and 1 that has piped through. So far I have spent half my day looking in the bator as if this is going to make things move along any faster. Patients is NOT my thing when it comes to hatching. I want to see the babies and I want to see them NOW!!!! Trying to be productive by cleaning house in between stairing into the bator. COME ON BABIES!!!!!!!

I am so right there with you. Have bantam cochins hatching today - Silver Laced and Mille Fleur.

I do a bit of housework and then stare thru the bator windows for a long time

Crazy how that happens. I stood at the bator for the first couple of days - constant watch. Then just let it be for 3 weeks. Was checking the humidity one day & saw a pip.

Stood there for 2 days watching it all unfold. Drove myself crazy.

We heard MAJOR peeping coming from the piped egg at lunch time! I know that good things come to those who wait, but I want my goodies NOW not up to 24 hours from now! This is so stressful!!! At the end of a hatching day I am always exhausted, and I didn't even break out of a shell!
