I am driving my husband crazy....question...

I am a first time hatcher, and I have two "pips"...they are 1 1/2 days earlier than expected.

I have two questions...

I opened the incubator (GASP!) will they live? I think I knew better...

How long will it take to hatch from here?

You should be fine. I'm adding a couple of links to recent threads about this, 'cause it's crazy tonight and it's quicker then typing everything out. I think there must be something in the air, lots of early hatches lately including mine. Good luck and happy hatching! Love the little fuzzy butts!

Thanks...I read that heat too high makes them hatch early, is this true?

I feel like a new dad taking his wife to the hospital for the first babyl...I mean nervous, crazy, the whole deal!

That's what I've read too. I had two thermometers in the bator and they both read the same--I thought they were accurate, but based on the early hatch I'm running 1 degree cooler this time around. Even though they were early they all are doing great so hopefully yours will do well too.
