I am dry hatching 28 duck eggs

Today is day 23 and I got 3 ducklings that have internally popped and r peeping up a storm so what everyone says about u can't dry hatch duck eggs....my incubater so far is proof u indeed can dry hatch duck eggs and so far the mortality of eggs is higher in the wet hatch incubater which contains the same breed of duck eggs and also started out with the same amount of eggs 28 eggs were in both incubaters will post pics when the first external pip and zip and hatch r all made

I'm on day 23 today and one of my duck egg is wiggling last night when I weigh them

I didn't really do dry hatch, my humidity is at 40 most of the time but I'm letting it run dry the next few days as the air cell hasn't really grown much last few days

be interesting to see how they do with hatching
Moms get the belly wet then lay on the eggs
Wonder if this helps to soften the shell for hatching or if the babies will be able to break through on their own

The reason for the early pips is baby lost all the liquid and air cells grew bigger forcing the early hatch
Babies can still be just fine this way

I dry hatch my calls. I've never had any issues.

I got 3 ducklings fully hatched Outland a 4th on its way out
