I am going to change brand of feed.

I am going to change brand of feed for my birds. When making a change do most of you start mixing the old to new and if so how long tell you reach new feed only.
Having rabbits the changeover is very impotent in preventing problems and just assuming birds also benefit from some kind of introduction also.
Or is it not a problem to just switch out?

I have changed brands of feed and have never had any digestion issues, atleast not anything serious. Birds systems seem to adjust rather easily I think.

I mix old to new so the birds continue laying mainly. If I switch feed rapidly I get no eggs because the birds freak on me.
