I am Going to Raise Up A Batch of Black Australorps

I am getting ready to order me 25 pullets & a couple of roosters from Hoovers Hatchery whats the color of the eggs i am wanting a darker brown egg let me know

They tend to have a medium brown colored egg.

are there eggs very large from what i have read they are large eggs i have a bunch of Road Island Reds they are just now starting to lay & there eggs are fairly dark brown & large too . wonder if i crossed my Road Island Reds with the Australorps hens . or would it be nest to keep both breeds pure
