I am interested in Fantails. Will be my first time raising pidgeons.

Fantails are usually alright..but it depends on what you are going to do with them? Do you plan on just keeping a few around and not particular about quality? If so, then that will be easy, but they are a very popular breed and if showing require preperation and preening in order to be competitive.

It also depends on which fantail you raise? American? Indian? Mindian?

Those are really the only three choices at the most, the Mindians being the hardest to find since they are a new and upcoming breed....although they have made great progress and are really becoming popular over the last few years.
