I am going to the Bahamas at the end of this year for a cruise.. I see the pictures of the beach etc.. and think.. man.. i want to stick my feet into the sand and have a beer and not ever get back up..just lay there with my feet in the cool sand..

I wish you good luck tho.. I know how it is to want to go where you are happy. Just be careful and make sure you dont burn you bridges that might prevent you from coming back here.

For what it's worth, the CIA statistics say that Germany has much less crime per capita than the US. I was thinking of retiring to a nice little cottage outside the Black Forest, although DH dreams of the lake district in Wales. I wouldn't say no to Basel, either.

you get tape worm from eating undercooked meat. There are several different kinds. People usually get it from under cooked fish. Animals get it from other animals stool.

However if my memory serves I think I read some where about a medical condition. Would't think moving to a third/second world country would be an option. No way you gonna make me believe you can get C scans, MRIs, lithotrypsy or the same availability to nuclear medicines.
