Hi everyone,
I am new with chicken, I've got 3 baby chicken to start with two month ago,
they are growing very very pretty.

then last week I got 3 more Hen form the internet.

they are 3 years old Old English game HEN.

already lay egg.

but because I leave home to work in the dark (early morning) back home in dark (back home 6-7pm)
so haven't see them much after we got them... until yesterday I have to take two day off to do things.

then I see them better I found out... one of the game hen butt was OUT.
and she is dripping water? non stop...

I am not sure did she in pain??? but look like it....it was OUT very very OUT
I don't know it been OUT for how long... :( the ex-owner haven't do anything about it I guess that's why she give them away...

I do look on internet, people say bath her bum with some antiseptic...
but I know it may feel hurt...

so I put some tea tree oil in warm water and bath her today...
it been 5-6hour after I bath her...
it look like not dripping anymore...

hopefully she will get better :)



and I do check on internet, it say OLD English game not so friendly to other chock.

so they been in different cage...

my 3 baby chick and the 3 x 3years old English game hen.

Did anyone know Can I put them together?
how to check the game hen not attack my 3 baby chick??

With combining birds of different ages, It is best to wait until the birds are the same size and then also have a long period of the two flocks being able to see each other but no touching, through wire seem to work best, ie dividing the coop into two sections or keeping the new/younger ones in a cage inside the coup for a couple of weeks to a month at least. The chickens will get to know each other and sort of work out a pecking order before actually coming in contact with each other. After a week or two, letting them free range together is a good idea and should help... It will take a couple of weeks to get the pecking order sorted out. I hope your hen will be okay. I would keep chicks away from the adult hens. Just to be careful. At 3 yrs. old I think they don't lay many eggs - probably another reason the woman gave them away.

The black old English game is the out butt out... Today I bath her found she start got lots of white stuff hanging under butt?! Which she didn't have that before... I guess it mean she getting better?? Bad stuff come out form inside? Maybe?? Will try bath her everyday in the morning... Now I put vinegar in there water as well...:)
