i am new

hi guys. i am new here. i don't have chickens yet but plan on geting 5 rir's in the spring (well thats if i can find some that are around egg laying age because i don't like the idea of raising chicks lol. i have been wanting chickens for years but now my mom who i still live at home with likes the idea. i may be new to chickens but i am not new to birds because i rescue parrots so i kinda know what i will be geting into. i am here now so i can get all the info i can from you experts and have learned a lot by going through the forums. thanks---- brad from utah
