'Maizie! That wasn't us.' We heard a whisper.
'Huh? What? Who was that!' I yelled.
'Shh. Pipe down. It's Alex.'
'Alex! Where are you! Where's Mary?'
'Mary is right here, scared to death.'
'Okay, but right where?'
'I'll tell you later. Just find a place to hide, quickly.'
'Okay, come on Genius.'
Genius and I hid behind a bunch of crates. We settled down.
'Poke!' I felt something on my back.
'Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!' I yelled.
'Shut up!'
'Who's are you?' I whispered.
'It's Alex, silly!' Alex chanted.
'Alex! Mary!' Genius and I threw our wings around our friends. 'We're so glad your okay! We thought the human had you guys!'
'Nope! But you better go appoligize to Otis and Chunk.' Alex told us.
'Yeah.... We called them beef cakes.' Genius said.
Alex laughed. 'You must have been really mad.'
'Heck yeah!' Genius and I chuckled.
'Well, what are we waiting for?' Mary finally spoke.
'I actually don't know. I was just making the moment dramatic.' Alex confessed.
We all laughed together. 'Let's get out of here.'

'Hey Otis! Hey Chunk! Sorry for calling you names...' Genius and I appoligized. 'Our friends aren't really dead... See!'
'It's okay, I forgive you.' Otis said.
'Yeah, me too.' Chunk agreed.
'Hi Otis! Chunk! I'm Alex.' Alex introduced herself.
'I'm Mary!' Mary told them.
'Nice to meet you little ones.' Chunk replied.
'Yeah. Meat...' Otis stomped his hooves.
'Aaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!' Mary, Alex, Genius, and I screemed.
We ran as fast as we could. The cows ran after us.
