I am one happy man!!!

I have been trying to get rid of 16 roosters for weeks now. Last week somebody put me on to craiglist.org. So I posted an ad up there to see what it would do and within 20 minutes I had recieved two messages from some who were interested. I have over 20 messages from different people in my email inbox! That is amazing to me that that many people were interested in them knowing they were just roos. Anyway, a lady came at around 10 this morning and took all 16 off my hands!!!

I am now down to 11 chickens! 10 hens and one roo: A favorable ratio for the first time ever at my farm. I am estatic. I am highly satisfied with craig list and strongly reccomend it to any body looking to give away or sell anything. What a great way to kick off June, lol

I'm so happy for you, hopefully I'll have the same luck when it's my turn!! I'm waiting for my chicks to grow up to determine their gender. Then it's bye-bye roos!!

I had 26 roos to get rid of last week and as soon as I put the ad on CL a lady called me and came and bought them !!!!! I was SOOOO happy. A lot of people on there will buy excess roos to process.

How much were you asking for the roos or did you just give them away?

I gave mine away. Thats how much I wanted them gone. It looks like I could have charged something but that would have made longer until somebody got all 16 of them though. I'm more then happy to give them away for free. Think of all the money I'll save not that I only have 11 and 10 of them hens!
