I am planning for the worst.. day 24 HUMIDITY 69

I hate to say Im planning for the worst, but I got up all nite to see if there is signs of life, went home early from work since day 20 and all I have is a crack on day 21 and nothing now day 24, is my humidity way to high? should it of been 55 not 65? IS THERE ANY HOPE?

Your humidity is okay don't give up hope just yet. Maybe the temps were low for awhile. I keep my humidity for day 18 thru 21 or 22 at 60 to 70%.

thank you for answering so quickly well I just read that someone had a perect hatch and it was always on 55. So I just popped my red caps off and trying to get it down a bit. But I have thought all this hatch that it was to be 65. so thank you for the comforting words, and let s keep our fingers crossed. So you dont think they drowned? 69 or so is ok? your right my temp has been maybe 97 sometimes, and 101 sometimes, but mostly 99ish. I have had a crack for 3 days not a deep one, it happend right on day 21 now nothing for two days? what do you think that is all about?

Ok, well not that Im giving up on my future babies, but I want to try again, and I always wanted silkies. Where does people buy there eggs? I have chickens so that is where these eggs come from.

Are you using an LG? If so the instructions say to have both red caps OFF beginning on day 18 (I think probably to allow for adquate respiration).

yes I have an LG and it says romove one of the red plastic vent plgs on top. and where there located it doesnt say when to take off or leave on. I will open one up right now. humidity sure drops when i do this so dont worry if it gets to 55?
