Please post pictures of the RIR and Polish. But I'm almost certain your Polish isn't bearded.

This is a bearded Ameraucana:

This is a non-bearded EE:

Where you put your better RIR really depends on where you want the points and how tough the competition is. I'm assuming by meat class you are talking meat show not meat market? Personally I would want a more ideal animal in breeding, it might be harder to get champion, but if I planned to breed it that's how I would want it judged. I don't know a lot about showing chickens yet. My kids started 4h this year the oldest did a market goat and the younger 2 did show chickens only. It's a tough call. I hope you do well

The reason I say you should post pictures of the RIR is because there's a true Rhode Island Red, and then there's a hatchery Rhode Island Red, also known as a production Red. Production reds are more brick colored, and are actually a crossbreed between an RIR and a New Hampshire. True RIRs are deep red, like dark-finished Mahogany, and have straighter backs.

The picture they have on their site appears to be a genuine RIR pair, but of rather bad quality. I speak from limited experience, of course, as I do not raise RIRs myself. I'd enter meat class.
