Anyone have any pictures of a Buff Orpington cross with a Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks ?? I recently hatched out some eggs from my ladies and due to the passing of my father I was home when they hatched. My wife didn't bother to pay attention to which one came from which eggs and didn't separate them accordingly. The Buff Orp was the roo and I also had 3 other hens besides the SLW (1 Barred Rock & 2 Amerucanas). Identifying the Barred rock chicks is fairly easy, but the others are a bit confusing. I am still very much a "Newbie" when it comes to the genetics aspect of chickens so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would look for the presence of a pea comb as your best bet. If your amerucanas are homozygous for pea combs, all chicks will have pea combs if they are their mom, as it is a dominate trait.
