I lost my embarassment awhile ago. My ex-husband would fart up a storm, but would throw a fit if I farted, I was supposed to go outside. New boyfriend thinks it's funny, god love him. I always blame him, especially if we're the only ones in the room.

I just said "fart" to Steven and he looked at me and said "what?" no snickers,, no giggles or laughs,,,,

My DH and I will confess to each other that we have a "Case of the Poofs" coming on, and then lovingly retreat to opposite ends of the house and/or the great outdoors. It's the only graceful thing to do.
