Michigans job situation is terrible. I have been looking since August for one and nothing. I am a Dental Assistant and there have been no jobs in that field around here. I was so desperate I started to apply at places I didn't really want to like Home Depot, Pet-Co etc. Any job would have been good.
I finally got a job. A GREAT job too. I will be teaching others how to be a Dental Assistant. It is $4.00 more an hour than I was making before as an Assistant. AND the best part is I still get to wear comfy scrubs and a ponytail (I hate dressing up everyday) also I don't have to work for some grouchy dentist and have cranky patients bawking at me.
It is part time so I will be able to get my son off to school and I will be here for him when he gets home. Someone pinch me, this is too good to be true!
I have been praying and thanking god since Wednesday when I got the call. What a great Thanksgiving gift.
