I am so sad...

I found my very first & favorite hen dead this morning.

She just started laying eggs on Wednesday. I don't know what happened. She was fine last night. She's been healthy. Is it possible she fell of the perch and broke her neck? I couldn't really tell by looking at her. No blood or fluids anywhere. She was right under her usual spot on the perch. When she laid her first 2 eggs, I noticed that she seemed a little dazed afterwards. Can they fall off of the perch trying to lay an egg? I am so sad.....

The 2 brahmas she hung out with seem sad too.
