...after reading the multiple posts, that we do NOT have a TSC where I live!!!!!!!!!

We just got one in the area 2-3 months ago- I am severely underwhelmed by the staff's knowledge, except for one man who seems to have his chickens in a row. The worst part is that the small feed stores in the area will likely be put out of business.

Thats why i buy at my local feed store as much as possible.

We use our local feed store as weel. we only go to TSC if the feed store is out or can not get us the supplies needed. Fortunatly we have only had to go to TSC twice in the past two years.



We order our chicks from Ideal. we have never had a problem.

OK..we are getting one here soon......I'll make sure I stay away for chicken supplies...we have a Southern States store that is great.

We have 4 feed store within a 10 mile radius here and I will say that the non corp. seems to have better business and a better educated staff. (Love my girls at the main store I shop at)

That being said I do have to get a certain clipper blade at TSC every couple of monthes and most of the staff there are about as knowledgable as the kids working at Petco.
