(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Nope, grew up around them, back in the early 70's(insert old guy joke).
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
71 which are as follows: 59 Cornish Cross waiting for the weather to break to hit the pasture, 6 straight run Buff Orphington waiting
to replace some of the layers, 3 red sexlink and 3 barred rock waiting to get culled.
(3) What breeds do you have?

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Wasting an entire Sunday watching the chickens be chickens. No really I can waste an entire day.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Flying drones, working at the church(hobby?), shooting, reloading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Husband of a hot redhead, father of 6 girls, 2 dogs(1 of the service variety), 1 cat(worthless, but likes me for some reason), logistics guy and part 107 pilot at a medium sized construction company.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
The Google brought me here many years ago and have been a lurker since. Why now, have a question about Cornish Cross that I can’t find the answer to.
