I am wondering what breed chickens I have

I have a all black hen that is not laying eggs and a red hen that is laying eggs but she doesn't sit on them and I want her to sit on them so I can have some babies

And in terms of your hen not sitting on eggs, some hens just do not tend toward being broody.

I'm not sure about your black hen but the red looks to be a Rhode Island Red and they are not known for being broody. Do you have a rooster? Even with broody girls, if you don't have a rooster, the eggs aren't fertile and you aren't going to end up with babies from them.

I do have a roster with them I think he is old enough to breed but I am not sure because I bought them from the feed store where o live and they didn't tell me anything about them
