I am working on getting a coop

I'm sure it won't be a permanent coop. It will house mint until summer. They will only be about 8 to 10 months. For 7 week birds I think it will work
Thing is within 8-10 months those birds will be almost as large as adults.

It says it's good up to 10
That generally means it's OK for about half of that.
Might depend on what model you ordered.

Yay!!!! The Coop is built!!!

We have a prefab coop / tractor they claim can house 6 adult hens, there is NO WAY this is possible for adults. We have limited ourselves to only 3 hens to ensure adequate adult space. It sounds like yours is only temporary so shouldn't be a problem with pullets or smaller birds, but overcrowding will be a problem with an enclosure and all the Co2 in the air being released over night. Just something to think about.

We are checking for adequate ventilation as well.

This coop in the future will be used to introduce new birds to the flock and younger birds.

The Coop is built!!!
The coop itself(the enclosed portion) looks to be maybe 2x3'.
Good for 1-2 birds by typical minimum BY standards.
Might be able to modify the structure too enclose the whole thing.

I see little to no adequate ventilation.

I have been trying to work out how to make more space in the coop for my birds. I was considering enclosing the run space under the coop, and adding a second litter tray for easier cleaning.
What do you all think? Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.
