I have some issues with this video. How did she break her leg? Chicks don't hatch with broken legs. She may have had a leg issue at hatch but unlikely that it was broken. Did she break it in the incubator? I don't understand.
I think she may have broke it in the incubator.
 
I brought home a chick from work...in transit to our store the leg was injured. Another chick passed away but this baby made it and has watched many new chicks come and go as we get them multiple times a week.

My concerns are...
Will it function well in a coop and run as the other chicks grow to adult? Or will they end up picking at it and causing issues?
So far, there is NO social distancing it from any other chicks and it's about 4 weeks older than the others. 🤣

We have dubbed it lightning McQueen since the leg goes out to the side, but does not slow it down one bit.🥰

Thoughts? Advice?
