In that case, I would not expect any feather-sexable or color-sexable chicks in your flock.

So yes, you are going to need to raise them until they are old enough to tell by combs or other means.

An update! I forgot about this thread like I always do, but now saffron and pepper are 2 weeks old. I still think saffron is a Cockerel, but maybe I'm just paranoid. So far pepper looks like a pullet.

I'll have to keep saffron (if it's a Cockerel) anyway until the new chicks hatch on Halloween and until pepper, if she is a pullet, gets along with them. I can't have her alone.
Pea combs and I don't get along. But with them being the same age, it does seem like Saffron has a wider comb? But maybe that isn't a good indicator. I'm not good at this game yet, ha!
