You're right, that is a very big difference! I agree she looks much more like the Brown Leghorn when I see her in brighter lighting.

A little 4 week old update

Saffron is DEFINITELY a he. His comb is quite big and red now, and he is much bigger than Pepper, but he has yet to grow his first roo feather. What color do you think his leakage will be? I heard Easter egger cockerels usually get red/copper on their shoulders and saddle areas.

Aww, they're adorable! My EE got a rusty red. First on his shoulders, then all over. He quite literally looked like he was rusting in the elements, lol.
