I bought 2 sex-links (black and gold) and one is a rooster?

Yup, I notice the rose comb right off the bat too.

You do not have sex links. They look exactly like my neighbor's Golden Laced Wyandottes. Good breed, I have heard many a good things about them. Nice big egg layers.

I have also noticed that with my neighbor's chickens we had to sex her's by looking at the saddle and hackle feathers because even her pullets had very well developed combs and wattles. Does the one have pointed feathers at the base of his tail and on his neck?

I have 3 new pics of him and 2 of the other one (his sister if it is a he lol).

I went and found box I brought them home in out in shed and it says 2 sex-link but I think there was a lil mix up when they grabbed them for me.

I just picked up 3 Black Sex Links from the local feed store and now one of them looks different ...I think I may have a GLW too ...and really hope she's still a she! They're just wee little chicas right now, so hard to say ...unless Blacks get some red'ish gold feathering on their backs?? The other two don't have anything but black on them, so I dunno...

I have five Gold Laced Wyandottes pullets. They look just like the little girl you have there. They are very nice chicks. Second favorite to my Golden Comets.
