I bought 6 Bourbon red turkeys do i raise them like chickens ?

poults I got them local even brought them home in a warmed brooder from 25 miles away they all look great and I want to keep them that way maybe a week old they have some feathers on wing's read sharons post and the link then cleaned the brooder

you will need to feed them a higher protien feed than chicks. We use a 28% game bird starter for the first 3 months. Keep them warm and dry and not overcrowded. There are lots of people here to help you all the way, just sing out with your questions and we can walk you thru every step and thru all the turkey poo.

I started my royal palms and narragansett's on 24% non medicated feed.I would give them chick starter and scratch also as babies.My turkeys loved treats especialy bread and lettuce or greens scraps.Mine did very well.

Hey Steve...you can pronounce them but I dont see them in your signature..LOL! I am hatching out some Bourbons and was wondering about their housing needs as adults any suggestions?
ETA: I cant spell before coffee!
