I bought a de-beaked hen

I d check themall routinely anyways because Im a neurotic chicken nut..lol... But I watch her and her fellow debeaked friends they all group up together and preen very nicely, its cool how they adapt so well, I've seen other debeaked ones were they only have 1/4 of what mine have, I feel so bad

That's awful. Not sure how someone could see it as a good idea. All for the $$$ -_- rude. I'm so happy they can still preen. Chickens seem to enjoy doing it

I bought 2 debeaked hens not knowing much about it and I found the one can eat anything and is the top chicken in the pecking order. The other likes her food moistened and does seem to have trouble eatting certain things.
