Today I went to look at a truck from an old farmer and he was showing me his old cars and I noticed he had an incubator and a hatcher that were collecting dust in his shop. I asked what he hatched and he said Emu's, I was about to laugh so hard. This man had to be at least 80-85 years old and he said that he made a lot of money off them dagum Emu's. Anyways we were negotiating a price for the truck he was asking $7,000, I then asked him 6,200. He said no. Then I said $6,500 he said its still a little to low I said this is the best I can do is $6,700 but I want the incubator and hatcher also. He was not expecting this at all and he said he had to ask the old lady. About 2 minutes later he handed me a green title and I drove off with an incubator and hatcher in the back of my truck! Today has been a wonderful day.

Sounds like an awesome deal to me.

Just think, You bought the incubator and hatcher and the farmer threw in the truck.

I am very use to chicken math just outside that picture there are 45 1 week old Welsummers and Aurauconas chicks I had a friend hatch out for me from my flock. I also have 25 6 week old RIR and Aurauconas on the barn. I love chickens, Ducks, and fresh farm eggs! I will post a pick of my brooder.
