I had these sent too me today, and this is how they were shipped, candled and no cracks, 2 days to get to me, but they were placed in carton pointed end up, and they had loose air cells. I think I may hatch them in a diff incubator all together.

All pointy end down. Only one wonky air cell. Took 2 to 3 days to get to me. Have hatched from this lady before, this method works fairly well. If the eggs you received were upside down, maybe they don’t know how to handle fertile eggs?

When I ship eggs it's always; crumpled paper in the bottom, eggs are individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then more paper. Stored pointy side down in the box. Then more paper packed around them until the box is full and doesn't shake. If I can I put it in another box with more paper between the two boxes.

I've gotten eggs shipped to me in similar conditions, but the worst I got was someone wrapped the eggs in bubble wrap, sort of tossed them loose in a bubble wrap bag, then put some crumpled paper above and below that. They were not secure at all and were rolling around in the bag for the trip. Very disappointed in those. One was cracked on arrival, one was very porous and small (so we didn't set that one cause we only had room for 8) and of the rest only 3/8 hatched in a high end automatic incubator. :T Not the worst results but not thrilling.

Thanks for sharing! I candle and try not to set eggs with pores, but this time I just set every egg. I will candle at day 7 and see how it is going.

I didn't candle all the last loose air cell eggs today, but I did keep them still overnight in a separate incubator. I took out one to candle and just peek, the air cell looks fixed and at the top.
