25 cuckoo marans from McMurray...

I really wanted a mixture of the partridge rocks and the barr rocks too, but then I'd have to wait until April 30.

Is it me, or are they selling out earlier this year??

I had to get st run too - but oh well, guess I'll be harvesting some roosters this summer.

At first I was not going to get any chicks, then I thought about hatching out some cuckoos, and then the market dropped 300 today and that was it - chicks are an investment as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe a goat is in order...

Are they good quality from McM? Anybody get them from there before?

I doubt they are good quality - but I really wanted them and I wanted them NOW! LOL...I ordered from the hatchery that could get them to me the fastest!

Last year it seemed like everyone was selling chickens and chicks on Craig's List, but this year not so much - or they are like twice as expensive as ordering them yourself.
