I brought these pullets home today and the person I got them from had no idea what breed they were. I’m thinking Old English Game? Or American Game?

Hi, Megganjune,
They look like Isa Browns to me. I'm not an expert on what their chicks look like though. Maybe Google Isa Brown chicks & see whether they're a fit. Maybe an Isa Brown-X. The sporadic placement of white feathers is different on a couple of them which throws me a little. I don't think Isa Browns have any white feathering. Or maybe a New Hampshire Red or Lohman Brown which is a cross breed. I'm not familiar with game birds so can't help you there. Good luck!

They are very slim for an Isa Brown, New hamp or Rhode Islands... not sure, could they be mixes? I agree their colouring is correct for one of those breeds, but they are very streamline, very slender in shape/stature and the above breeds are more chunky than these in my experience.

I can see the shape is what's making you think game birds... not too sure to be honest. I would go with mixes, but I could be wrong 😊

Not ISA browns, or any other production breed. They kind of look like Modern Games.

They're definitely not OEGBs

@MysteryChicken
They're Gamefowl, They're not Modern Gamefowl those have two leg color types, & that's dark legs, & yellow legs. White legs aren't part of the breed.

These are probably very leggy American Gamefowl Juveniles that haven't grown into their legs yet, as they're not super leggy. Also the first one has a peacomb, which some American gamefowl varieties have.
