I butchered quail today

I was looking for quail eggs, a coworker of my oldest son had some and instead of selling me eggs, he just gave me his quail, 15 of them because he was tired of them, it was supposed to be no more than 4 males, but instead it was 9 roosters and 6 hens and one of the hens was crippled, I kept 2 roosters and butchered 7.

Nice. Do you find it harder to butcher quail since they're smaller than chickens?

No they were pretty easy, I dipped them in hot water and plucked them, they cleaned up really nice.
