And the plot thickens…..I speak in a Scottish accent when I'm talking to myself.
Genuinely. It isnt even forced. It just happens.
I've never even been to Scotland

I have read that they are more nutritious. Also better for baking.
My husband likes them better than chicken eggs, I can’t tell a difference. He thinks they’re richer and more creamy.
They are definitely bigger though, I’d say they’re one and a half chicken eggs, some of our pekin eggs I’d say are the size of TWO chicken eggs.
Maybe in a former life??I speak in a Scottish accent when I'm talking to myself.

They balance each other out perfectlyIsn't it a wonder how two ducks can be so different?
Its like having two children.
I was late putting the girls to bed tonight, since I was working on their/my bunny's pen and continued until dark. I'm finishing up while Sprightly is stood on the step of their house, staring at me like "uhm, mum, its time for bed like half an hour ago??" Just waiting, ready to go in.
Meanwhile Dougie is still running around laughing, looking for bugs. So, since its too dark to do anything more, I walk over to put their water in the coop, and Sprightly steps into the house happily, waiting for me to shut it up, meanwhile I have to go back, grab Dougie and toss her in! Because even in pitch black darkness, she's still excited to stomp back and forth bug hunting!
Honestly these girls
Dougie is a huge character for sure. Keeps me on my toes. They balance each other out perfectly
Dougies my kind of girl, you know I love those sassy feisty ones!
But I also have a soft spot for the Spightlys of the group
Dougie is a huge character for sure. Keeps me on my toes.
She once found a twig, and she was acting like she was going to try and swallow it, so I reached to take it off her (wasnt sure if it was just a stick) and she ran away laughing with it in her mouth as if to say "NO ITS MY WORM"
She realised it wasnt edible and dropped it![]()
theres always more worms in the earth! She likes getting all the ones under the pool when I clean it out.I’m sure she was super disappointed it was just a stick, especially after all that chase. That’s what karma gets ya Dougie!
Haha what a doofustheres always more worms in the earth! She likes getting all the ones under the pool when I clean it out.
Last time though I left it leaning against the wall (very lightweight plastic kiddie pool) I went to grab the hose, and saw Dougie trying to climb up the standing pool....
got back to her in time to find that she had finally knocked it over, and "trapped" herself underneath. I lifted it, to "free" her, but she didnt want to come out, she was too happy with herself, getting all the worms under her new "hide".![]()
