. Great place for info or to enjoy a humorous post and I am not forgetting the recipes (that my wife thinks I have came up with...shhh). In the short time I have been browsing this forum I built a bigger coop, bigger run And have got "Mopeeps" then I really need

. My interest in chickens started when I found a chicken still alive on the road(fell off chicken truck or maybe jumped

) . It was in poor shape so we fed it french fries and whatever we had at the time to give it a good last meal . The chicken ended up serviving so we got some feed and named it pecker. Pecker lived in a dog kennel with a dog house that I already had set up from my dog that didnt use it cuz she was getting up in age and i didnt want my pup in the heat or cold. In no time pecker was eating out of everyones hand and following my son and I all over the yard. There was a little joke that we used to say about Pecker "She fell off of a chicken truck and became a dog." That was years ago but I still mess with chickens thx to ol peck for shining a new light on a old species. Sooooo there is a little about me , I'll be around
